Special Bulletin on Easter Season Mass Arrangements

The obligation to physically attend mass is still suspended and government guidance on Covid-19 is still in place with regard to services in places of worship.

This means that if you are unable to attend Mass or consider yourself in a vulnerable group because of Covid-19, you may make an act of Spiritual Communion or attend one of the numerous Online services over Easter.

Palm Sunday through Easter Sunday Arrangements

There will be the opportunity to attend Mass on Palm Sunday either on the Saturday evening or on the Sunday itself. We will also be celebrating Mass and other services on Holy Thursday, Good Friday, Easter Saturday and Easter Sunday.

As with Christmas, in order to ensure safety and compliance with government guidance, the services will be by booking only.

Online booking is now closed.

The booking system is now closed and no more bookings are being taken. However, there are still places for the following services should you wish to attend and where you may turn up without having booked. These are:

Palm Sunday at 8.30am
Palm Sunday 10.30am
Good Friday Stations Of The Cross 6.30pm
Easter Sunday 8.30am

The following services are now booked and it may not be possible to accommodate anyone who wishes to attend on the off-chance, although we will do our best.
Palm Sunday Saturday Vigil
Maundy Thursday
Good Friday Passion
Easter Vigil Saturday
Easter Sunday

When you arrive at your Mass, an Usher will ask you for your name and the number in your group and check this against the list of names booked for that Mass. You will then be directed towards a pew.

Priority at each Mass will be given to those who have booked. People who turn up without a booking will have to wait until we are satisfied that all booked groups have turned up. After waiting, you may be told that there is no space available and we would ask that you respect that. Please understand that this is done reluctantly, and only with everyone’s safety in mind.

Please note all bookings must be made by 21st March in order to ensure the church is prepared for you.

We need volunteers to help with each Mass:

If you are able to volunteer in anyway, we would be very grateful indeed. Please speak with Sr. Marian.
