Our Lady of Lourdes Parish “100 Club”

The organ at Our Lady of Lourdes Church is historically significant, as it was manufactured by the John Compton Organ Company, which was famously based locally in Chase Road, North Acton. Historical church organs often require routine upkeep.

The church organ is suffering from water damage, as well as a build-up of dust and dirt. It needs to be dismantled and cleaned, and damaged parts repaired or replaced.

We have an estimate of £49,500 to complete the work, the 100 Club offers our parishioners to a fun way to raise vital funds for the repairs and upkeep of the organ

A chance to win one of three prizes every month and, at the same time, to support your parish!

Our club is open to all parishioners, you just have to be over the age of 16, and you may buy as many annual tickets as you like.

Each ticket costs £36 for a full year’s membership, equivalent to £3 a month. With 100 members, that adds up to £300 a month, half of which is given away in monthly prizes.

The top monthly prize is £100, with two further prizes of £25.

The winning numbers will be drawn once a month during Mass, and the winners will be able to collect their cheques the following weekend.

The rest of the money goes into parish funds, and for this first year, it will go towards the Organ Repair Fund.

Recruitment forms for the 100 club are available at the back of the church, so, if you would like to help your parish in this way, please complete a form and hand it to one of the helpers after Mass or bring it to the Parish Office.

You can pay your £36 by cash or bank transfer (reference: 100+surname).
