Spirituality

Are you ready to journey deeper into the mystery of God?

Whoever drinks the water that I give him will never thirst”
John 4:14

Jesus did not come to give us a set of commandments, but to save us from our sin and bring us into a new relationship with the Father. It is in knowing the Father’s love that our lives are changed. We are called to grow in that love, even in this life, even as we wait for its fullness in the next.

As Christians, we cannot grow in our faith alone. Our Sunday Eucharist is the source of our nourishment, but we need more to go deeper. There are several opportunities to do so right here, in our parish.

Alpha

Meet new people and explore the Christian faith together. Alpha is for anyone who’s curious. No judgement, no pressure. Each session unpacks a big question of life, faith, and purpose, and is designed to spark conversation. Come along, see what you think.

Alpha runs twice a year – once at St John’s (usually Easter time) and Bl.Sacrament (Autumn). More on Alpha here.

Communion & Liberation

Meets each Thursday, 6:30 PM at the Presbytery, Duncan Terrace.

The meetings are free and open to everyone.

Serve with us

It was Jesus who said, ‘it is better to give than to receive’. We grow in our faith and love through service towards others. There are a variety of ways you can serve in the parish and grow in your faith. Click here for more options.
