Jesus did not come to give us a set of commandments, but to save us from our sin and bring us into a new relationship with the Father. It is in knowing the Father’s love that our lives are changed. We are called to grow in that love, even in this life, even as we wait for its fullness in the next.
As Christians, we cannot grow in our faith alone. Our Sunday Eucharist is the source of our nourishment, but we need more to go deeper. There are several opportunities to do so right here, in our parish.
Alpha
Alpha is running at St John’s from February 25th 2026. For more details, click here. At the Blessed Sacrament Church, most likely it’ll run in the Autumn.
