Neighbouring Parishes – News and Events
You are warmly invited to join Catholic charity Stella Maris (formerly known as Apostleship of the Sea) on 19 November for a special Mass to mark the one-year anniversary of the hijacking by Houthi militants of the Galaxy Leader ship and its crew of 17 Filipinos, 3 Ukrainians, 2 Mexicans, 2 Bulgarians and 1 Romanian.
Stella Maris is arranging a Mass and prayer vigil to pray for the safe release of the hostages and the safety all seafarers travelling through the Red Sea at this time of regional conflict.
The Mass will be held at St Anselm and St Cecilia’s Church on Kingsway (WC2A 3JA), on 19 November at 7pm. It will be celebrated by the Filipino Chaplain in Westminster Diocese, Fr Francisco Cruz. To register your attendance, please sign up here:https://stellamaris.org.uk/galaxyleadervigil/
