Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults (RCIA)

This rather pretentious title might be better described as: ‘exploring the Catholic Faith for adults’. It is offered to three categories of people:

* Catholics wishing to broaden and deepened their understanding of the Faith, perhaps building on their schooling experience;
* Baptised members of other Christian denominations who are interested in the possibility of becoming Catholics – perhaps spouses of Catholic partners;
* Those who have not been baptised into any Christian community but who feel that the Catholic church has something to offer them.

The programme of weekly meetings has its climax at Easter, when those willing are received into the Church at the Easter Vigil. It continues after Easter until early summer.

If you are interested, or if you know anyone who is, please have a word with Fr Peter.
