Anointing of the Sick

Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the bishops of Church, and let him pray over them, anointing them with oil in the Name of the Lord; and the prayer of faith will save the sick person and the Lord will raise them up; and if they have committed any sins, they will be forgiven! ‘ (Jas 5:14-15)

If we are facing a long-term illness (mental, physical or spiritual), or if we are preparing for a hospital operation, we seek God’s help through the Sacrament of Anointing and Healing.
If you need the Sacrament of Anointing and Healing, please contact the Parish Office.
With your permission and consent, a priest will be happy to visit you and to anoint you.

If you are unable to get to church regularly, due to health or personal reasons, please contact us and we can arrange to visit you and to bring you Holy Communion regularly, if you would like us to.

In an emergency, please state clearly that the situation is urgent.

If you are or a loved one are in hospital, the quickest way is to ask for ‘the Roman Catholic Priest Chaplain’.
The official appointed Roman Catholic chaplain is the fastest and best person to serve someone already in hospital / a hospice.
(Please state clearly if it is urgent or an emergency).
