Synodal journey

TOWARDS OCTOBER: GATHERING ONE

Pope Francis in his homily at the closing of Mass of the Synod in October 29 2023 notes, “The Lord will guide us and help us to be a more synodal and missionary
Church, a Church that adores God and serves the women and men of our time, going forth to bring everyone the consoling joy of the Gospel.”

Our Parish St Gabriel (South Harrow) and St Bernard (Northolt) will have gathering one of synodal journey at St Gabriel’s Church Hall on Thursday February 15th 2024 at 7.30 pm

The conversion includes a discussion on the following questions

Q.1: How do we witness as a Parish and proclaim our faith to:
▷ those who have never heard of Christ;
▷ those who have ceased walking with Christ;
▷ those with whom we worship Christ (those who go to church)?
Q.2: How should we organise ourselves as a Parish to do this more effectively?

TOWARDS OCTOBER: GATHERING TWO:

Cardinal Nicholas writes, “The journey of the Catholic Church around the world in the renewal of our mission, centred on the work of the Synod of Bishops on Synodality, continues apace. Please… make use of this moment for a reflection and renewal in the mission entrusted to us by our Blessed Lord.”

Our Parish St Gabriel (South Harrow) and St Bernard (Northolt) will have gathering two of synodal journey at St Gabriel’s Church Hall on Tuesday February 20th 2024 at 7.30 pm

The conversion includes a discussion on the following questions

Q.3: What concrete steps/formation opportunities would help us begin to witness and proclaim our faith more effectively?
Q.4: What structures may need to change? How might we need to develop the way we are organised currently?

We invite all parishioners to participate in our journey to discover our faith!
