Blessing of our Remembrance Garden Crucifix

We were delighted to welcome Fr Andrew Malborough on the morning of Saturday 20 June for the blessing of our new crucifix in our remembrance garden, a crucifix which he kindly donated to our parish!

During Fr. Andrew’s homily in the morning Mass, he reminded us of of how fitting a crucifix is as a memorial for those that gave their lives in the war; with it always being a sign of self giving love.

We adore you, O Christ, and we bless you, because, by your holy Cross you have redeemed the world!
