Pope Francis stresses the importance of youth in the Church. “The church is not a club for the elderly, nor is it a youth club,” the pope responded. “If it becomes something for old people it is going to die.” Pope Johnpaul II illustrates the need of youth in the church: “if you live with young people, you will also become young, and the church needs young people to not grow old.”
Pope Francis invites young people not to fear but to begin a journey filled with joy to bear witness to Christ in the world.
Our Parish youth group meets once a month (normally Second Saturday of the Month). The next meeting date for your diary: Youth Summit (a Day of Retreat) with talks, activities and Praise and worship: 27th June 2026
