Pilgrims from St Bart’s and surrounding parishes enjoyed a great day in Walsingham celebrating the Feast of Our Lady of Walsingham with at least twenty other parishes from Westminster Diocese. Cardinal Vincent Nicholls led us and preached a very uplifting homily on the joys of Our Lady and spoke about the role of mothers nurturing their children. Later he mingled with all of us. We walked under St Bartholomew’s banner, many people admired it and someone said it was the best banner there! If you have never experienced Walsingham or have not been there in recent years, think about coming on our next pilgrimage there from St Bartholomew’s which will be on the Feast of the Annunciation, Saturday 25th March 2023.
