Please be careful of so-called ‘wedding planners’. Do not believe what they have to say about Church requirements; they frequently give misleading advice.
To start the process off, call the office to book an appointment to see me. I will then be able to tell you what further information you need to supply and what else you need to do. I will tailor the process to your situation.
When you contact the parish office, be ready to provide full names, contact details, religion of each party and whether or not either of you has been married before.
The Church normally requires six months notice of weddings.
