About the Parish

Welcome to St. Raphael’s Parish, Yeading

Founded in 1957 and part of the Hillingdon Deanery, the Parish of Yeading has been a vibrant centre of Catholic life for generations. Our church, built in 1961 and consecrated on 4th May 1975, continues to be a place of worship, community, and service.

Today, St. Raphael’s is a joyful and diverse parish, enriched by its multi-racial and multi-cultural community. Worship is central to our mission, and under the pastoral care of Fr John Welsh, our liturgies are celebrated with reverence and dignity. Fr John is supported by dedicated parishioners who serve in a variety of lay ministries.

We are blessed with an active St Vincent de Paul Society, leading our charitable outreach and works of Caritas acts of love and compassion. Thanks to the generosity of our parishioners, we are able to support those in need both locally and around the world.

Our parish offers a full sacramental programme, ministries for children and carers, and maintains strong relationships with St Raphael’s Catholic Primary School and nearby Catholic high schools.

Prayer is the heartbeat of our faith, and we offer a range of groups and programmes to nurture the spiritual life of our community.

Thank you for visiting our website. Be assured of our prayers and please keep us in yours.
