ABOUT
The Parishes.
We are one of two parishes in the town of Hemel Hempstead. Fr Kim Addison is the parish priest of Hemel East. Our parishes co-operate on certain matters. For historical reasons each parish has two churches.
The parish of Hemel West is comprised of two churches; Ss Mary & Joseph’s in St. John’s Road, BOXMOOR HP1 1NR and St. Mark’s church in Hollybush Lane, WARNERS END, which is located in the grounds of John F Kennedy (JFK) Catholic Secondary School, HP1 2PH.

Hemel West
The parish of Hemel West was created in 2019 by the merger of two parishes, St Mary & St Joseph’s in Boxmoor and St Mark’s in Warners End, with the church at Boxmoor designated as the parish church for the new parish. The parish office, parish centre and the presbytery are located opposite the church on St Johns Road.
