To Callum Moore who has been appointed on a part-time basis as Pastoral Assistant Catechetical Co-Ordinator for the parish of Hemel West. Whilst Callum will be retained by the diocese at the Catholic secondary school of JFK, he will also be contactable for many Hemel West parish- related factors: <cmoore@jfk.herts.sch.uk> Callum’s role will be to manage the catechetical offer for all age groups across the parish. Initially this will start at 40 hours per month. As his role grows it will increase to 60 hours per month. The purpose of catechesis is to make a person’s faith become “living, conscious, and active, through the light of Christian instruction.”
