SCIE Review of CSSA Policies and Procedures

The CSSA has commissioned the services of the Social Care Institute for Excellence (Scie) to review our policies and procedures, this work has now commenced. To ensure that the review team together with associated reference groups take into consideration as many views as possible, it is requested that the attached stakeholders survey be distributed to as many people as possible within diocese, parishes, religious orders including Bishops, leaders of religious orders, survivors, clergy, parishioners, trustees, safeguarding sub committees, COO’s, volunteers, DBS processing staff, those who have been subject to restrictions because of risk, those who may have been stood down from ministry and their advocates etcetera.

This is an opportunity to help shape the future of safeguarding within the Catholic church and make representations where it is evident or perceived that the current policies and procedures are outdated, or there is a gap or no policy for a situation, are difficult to work to or interpret or for other reasons.

Therefore, it is requested that you submit the survey by Thursday 31 August. Please click here for the link. Thank you for your help.
