The solemnity of Jesus’ Ascension

This solemnity is a Holy Day of Obligation. A bit like marking an anniversary with a loved one with a date, Catholics are obliged to give thanks and praise to God on this day for Jesus going before us into heaven. Mass is on Thursday 14th May 7pm.
