Following the passing of our beloved monarch, our parish’s prayers are with the Royal Family and with all who mourn her loss. Queen Elizabeth was not just our Queen, she was THE Queen the whole world over. Widely respected and held in the utmost regard, she truly put the “Great” in Britain.
We pray for the people of her Kingdom, that we may come together and continue to find inspiration in the 70 years of unwavering service she gave her country.
We pray for King Charles, that he may be comforted by the outpouring of love for his mother and reassured that her guidance will stay with him throughout his reign.
We pray for the repose of the soul of our Queen, that she may be reunited with her beloved husband in the grace of God.
REQUIEM aeternam dona eis, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat eis.
