Parish Staff

Fr Andrew Gallagher – Parish Priest 

Fr Andrew has been Parish Priest in our parishes since September 2021. Before his arrival he was Precentor at Westminster Cathedral for five years, following serving as Assistant Priest in St Monica’s Church, Palmers Green and Our Lady & St Joseph’s Church, Kingsland in the years after his Ordination in 2011. Before training to be a priest Fr Andrew was a Pilgrimage Tour Manager, and this has led to another role in the diocese, as the Assistant Pilgrimage Director for the annual Westminster Diocesan Pilgrimage to Lourdes. In his spare time Fr Andrew plays cornet in a brass band, and enjoys walking, cooking and gardening. 

Fr Matteo Di Giuseppe – Assistant Priest 

Fr Matteo arrived as a newly ordained priest to our parishes in September 2022. Originally from Italy, Fr Matteo found his way to Hertfordshire via a long journey of discernment and formation via the Neocatechumenal Way. He has a great passion for football and for all things written by J.R.R. Tolkien.

Kerry Van Rensburg – Parish Administrator 

Kerry has the important role of co-ordinating the administration of our three parishes, and ensuring everything in the daily life of the parish runs as smoothly as possible. Originally from Zimbabwe, Kerry has spent much of her career in administration, and worked in other parish settings before her arrival in Rickmansworth in 2013. Away from the office Kerry enjoys spending time with her family, walking the dog and gardening. 

Daniel Callero – Parish Cleaner and Maintenance Operative 

Daniel works across our three sites ensuring they are kept clean and safe for all our users. He arrived in our parishes in 2013 and is a welcome addition to our parish team. In his spare time Daniel takes part in Jiu Jitsu, and enjoys watching science-fiction movies (especially Star Wars) and football. 

Jaison Jeyaventhan – Youth Choir Director 

Jaison leads our Parishes Youth Choir for those aged 8-13 years. Having completed his Grade 8 in both Piano and Voice at the age of 12, Jaison briefly studied at The Purcell School for Young Musicians before going on to complete his undergraduate degree in Music at King’s College London. Jaison has been singing and playing the organ at his parish church in Harrow-on-the-Hill for over a decade and has recently been appointed as a Choral Director for the Diocese of Westminster. He has had several years experience of choral  music, having been a member of the National Youth Choir of Great Britain as well as singing in the chapel choir and mixed-voice acapella group at university. As well as his background in church and choral music, Jaison has also undergone training in Indian classical music, formerly being a member of SAMYO, the UK’s National Youth Orchestra of Indian Music. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, producing and performing his own compositions.
