We are a small, sociable group of parishioners who work on a rota basis in the Sacristy to assist our priests with preparation for Mass and other liturgies. We maintain the Sacristy by looking after the Sacred Vessels and other items such as vestments, altar linen, cruets, lavabo bowls and thuribles necessary for liturgical celebrations. We also ensure that Sacristy stocks are kept up to date. Each of our three parishes has its own team of Sacristans.
