‘Children’s Liturgy’ is the ‘Liturgy of the Word’, pitched at an age-appropriate level the children can understand and enjoy. It takes place in a room near to but separate from the church at a time when the adults are also reflecting on the Word of God at Mass. After it is finished the children rejoin their parents for the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
Our aim is to make the children’s experience of church meaningful, whilst helping them to grow in the faith of the Catholic Church and develop as full and active members of our Parish Community.
Our Lady Help of Christians
Our Children’s Liturgy takes place on the third Sunday of each month at the 11am Mass. We need more helpers to build on our small Children’s Liturgy Team and to increase this provision. If you would like to help by either leading or helping with Children’s Liturgy please contact the parish office on e-mail rickmansworth@rcdow.org.uk for more information.
