Altar Servers serve an important role at Mass. Fulfilling a sacred function at the altar you have the privilege to be close to the action, assisting the priest and deacon in your duties as Jesus becomes present to us in the Eucharist.
You must have been baptised and have received First Holy Communion in the Catholic Church. There is no upper age limit. Training is provided and you will be assisted by a more experienced server as you learn.
Servers are encouraged to serve at specific Masses and may be called upon to help at extra Masses and on Feast-days.
We also welcome adults to serve in our parishes.
