It was a busy weekend in the middle of a very sunny May as on Saturday 10th May we had two Confirmation Masses, one in Rickmansworth and one in Chorleywood, where our 18 candidates received the gift of the fullness of the Holy Spirit from Bishop Paul McAleenan, an auxiliary Bishop of Westminster Diocese.
Then on Sunday 11th Mass Our Lady’s had their annual Marian Procession at the end of the 11am Mass. Fr Dom led the Procession, as the statue of Mary was carried around the site as we sang Marian hymns, before finishing with a Litany to Our Lady and a Prayer Re-Consecrating the Parishes to our blessed mother. This was followed by a Parish Social where Tea, Coffee and Cake were served, and plants were on sale raising money for the Chess Valley SVP Group. Around £300 was raised for their good work.
