On Saturday 8th June 45 members of our parishes’ GIFT Family Catechesis group went on pilgrimage to Westminster Cathedral. It was an exciting day, starting with a picnic lunch in Green Park, watching processions of smartly dressed soldiers around Buckingham Palace, having a tour the Cathedral and then answering questions about the Cathedral on a Quiz Sheet. We finished by having a special Mass in the Crypt Chapel of St Peter, where Fr Andrew talked about the importance of cherishing our memories of where God has blessed us in our lives.
