On Sunday 17th December our three parishes gathered at St John’s Church in Mill End for a joint Christmas Carol Service. The Service included musicians from each parish singing a Christmas motet, readings from scripture and poems and a short reflection by Fr Andrew on the importance of using Carols as prayers during the Christmas Season. The Church was full of parishioners from across the parishes as well as family and friends, and at the end of the service we gathered in the Parish Centre for Mince Pies and Mulled Wine. A collection was also taken for the important work of Aid to the Church in Need. This annual event is now a firm favourite in our parishes year!
