Sacramental Preparation

A Sacrament is an efficacious sign of grace, instituted by Christ and entrusted to the Church, by which divine life is given to us. Full and active participation in the sacramental life of the Church requires a period of preparation of both mind and heart to be receptive to the grace of new life in Christ.

First Confession, Holy Communion & Confirmation.

The first part of any preparation is weekly participation of Holy Mass.  After a suitable period, formal catechism classes for parents and children will be offered and preparation may take up to 2 years. Please contact the Parish Office, during parish office opening times. Invitations to join a preparation course will be announced at Mass.
