Gardening Group

We have been working on the parish gardens for around 3 years. We are a group of 8 – 10 volunteers who enjoy gardening and come from a mixture of abilities. We generally meet in the church car park on the first Saturday of every month to tidy, clear, plan and maintain the grounds from 9 – 12pm.

No commitment is needed, please just turn up when you can. Tools are available but you may want to bring your own secateurs. There is always work to be done and many of our volunteers come down during the week and / or other weekends to keep everything moving.

If you would like any further information, please contact Helen Bailey on 07771 552058 or via email hbailey@talktalk.net.

This group is responsible for the maintenance and upkeep of the gardens located within the parish boundary.  A large variety of work is on offer ranging from weeding beds and deadheading plants through to mowing lawns and keeping ivy under control.
